Battleship North Carolina is a battleship that was commissioned in 1941 and participated in every major naval offensive in the Pacific during World War II. During one violent battle, a Japanese torpedo struck the hull, where five men died. One young soldier was killed in the battleship’s washroom, and it has been reported that his spirit is still in there. Visitors have also reported sightings of other apparitions in passageways and shadow figures peering through portholes, as well as hatches and doors opening and closing on their own. Some have even caught sounds of running and objects being thrown through the air.
