Hinsdale House Pond

The newest improvement to the Haunted Hinsdale House in Hinsdale, NY: New deck on the pond.

The pond on the property has long been a source of many hauntings at the Hinsdale House.

During the 1970’s when the house became infamous for paranormal activity, several strange paranormal happenings occurred at or near the pond.
In her book “Echoes of a Haunting”, Clara Miller (Dandy) tells of several occurrences at the pond including a bizarre instance of the family witnessing a “Lady In White” dancing around the edge of the pond completely oblivious that any of the family members could see her. She disappeared whenever they want to follow after her.
