Dissecting The Cecil | Unexplained Cases: Live (2021)

We explore a location with a dark and deadly past: the Cecil Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, California. It’s a place where guests check-in – but many never check out – leaving the iconic hotel in body bags. Some call the Cecil a portal to hell – a hotel scarred by deadly shootings and stabbings, victims strangled – others who jumped to or were pushed to their deaths from hotel windows! This well-known location is also where serial killers, like the “Nightstalker” Richard Ramirez lived during his reign of terror in Southern California. The Cecil is also the site for one of the strangest incidents ever caught on camera – the mysterious disappearance and eventual death of Canadian Tourist Elisa Lam. Was it a tragic accident that took her life, or something more sinister – murder – even demonic possession? This is something Maryam has never dealt with — a remote view with hopes of contacting Elisa and the other victims– to uncover new details about what led up to their demise and determine if this hotel is really evil.
